Retención mínima necesaria del preservador GC 811 en la madera para su protección contra hongos xilófagos en condiciones de laboratorio

Abstract
Se presentan los resultados obtenidos en condiciones de laboratorio con muestras de Pinus caribaea y Bursera simaruba tratados con el preservador GC 811 con las concentraciones 3,5 y 7%. Se determinaron los valores de retención media en cada tratamiento y se consideró que la retención 15,47 kg/m3 ± 0,53 kg/m3, al evitar pérdidas de peso inferiores al 2% del peso inicial de las muestras, confiere una protección eficaz a la madera contra los hongos xilófagos.
