Main Article Content
Abstract
The investigation was aimed at evaluating the potential of existent carbon in areas of enterprise Agroforestry and forest Guantanamo, the quantity of carbon estimated itself for each one of the components of the patrimony, the information were processed with the automated system SUMFOR v 3,03. The enterprise accumulated a total of 12 650.6 Mt of carbon closing the year 2017 each one represented 318.00 (tC/ha ), equivalent to the removal of 24 169.7 the atmosphere’s t of CO2, being the natural forests the bigger reservoir, getting the bigger concentration in soil and biomass, accomplished the evaluation of the indicator itself 3.5 for the sustainable handling of the forests, the administrator got an outstanding contribution from the change (4), the balance of emissions indicated than the enterprise constituted a carbon drain in the period.
