Abstract

The research was carried out in the “Aguada de Joaquín” Conservation Area of the Turquino National Park in 2018, with the objective of determining the influence of environmental variables on vegetation associated with the Juniperus saxicola Britton and P. Wilson species. Six transects of 10 x 50 m were established. The data collection was made of the environmental variables of stoniness, abundance, wealth, slope, altitude and litter. An analysis of Correspondence without Tendency was made, through this result a Redundancy analysis was designed that explained the ordering pattern of the community and the variables were transformed to compare among them. In the analysis of this result, the variables altitude, abundance and leaf litter marked the distribution of the vegetation, Juniperus saxicola being the most correlated species with leaf litter.
