Main Article Content
Abstract
From the management project and scenarios used in the country, the EFI Matanzas has been subjected to an assessment of the expected impacts from climate change, including the rising sea level. It has been proposed an adaptation strategy that includes three specific actions and another one general, for the preparation of its Program to Face Climate Change, centering its develop on the use of existing experience in scientific and local educational institutions, indicating the desirability of a proactive position, allowing it to prepare for, even under these conditions, continue to fulfill the social mission that was assigned by the State.
