Microbiologycal contamination in the air at the xylotecal cuban woods of Julián Acuña INAF
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of the work was to determine the level of microbiological contamination of the air present in the environment of the Julián Acuña Cuban Wood Xiloteca belonging to the Institute of Agro-Forestry Research. For this, the Omeliansky collection method was used. A total of 430 bacterial colonies, 58 fungal colonies and 5 yeasts were obtained for 112, 15.9 and 1.04 colony forming units per cubic meter of air (cfu / m3) respectively with an appearance frequency of 46.2% for bacteria, 26.16% for fungi and 10.8% for yeasts, the xylothecal according to Omeliansky being classified as not contaminated for any of the isolated microorganisms.
