Abstract

The work was developed in the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, in 4 productive units belonging to the Company Cattle Triangle 3, municipality Camagüey. The study area embraces 1209 ha, next to the town of Altagracia. The objective of the work is to determine the analysis of risk and invasion of the species Albizia procera (algarrobo Indio) in cattle farm, applying the Manual of Use of prevention of biological invasions I3N. Interviews to the workers and members of the community to know the date of introduction of the species were applied. Temporary observation parcels 20 m x 25 m was created (500 m2) and it was measured the height and diameter of the present trees, and the accompanying flora. It was corroborated that the studied species has a high invasion potential for the cattle grasses.
