Resilience of the semicided forest in plantation of Albizia procera of 30 years in the Protected Area Jobo Rosado
Main Article Content
Abstract
A study was carried out to plant two hectares of Albizia procera (Roxb.) Benth., at the end of the 80s of the XX century, for the forest reconstruction in the APRM Jobo Rosado, in a clearing surrounded by forest secondary semideciduous. The objective was to know the resilience of the forest and the behavior of A. procera after 29 years. Two types of transects were used, some with no fixed length to carry out the floristic inventory and four with a length of 20 m long by two meters on each side, to determine the composition and number of tree-bearing species present in the strata. In the results no seedlings or juveniles of A. procera were found, they are present only in the tree layer, forming the canopy, the resilience of native species is numerous in all strata, which favored the ecological restoration.
