Abstract
Del 12 al 16 de junio de 2017 se celebrará en nuestro país la Convención Internacional Agro-Forestal. En ese marco se efectuará el VII Congreso Forestal de Cuba, el III Congreso Internacional de Café y Cacao, el VII Encuentro Internacional de Jóvenes Investigadores y el Simposio Nacional de Apicultura.
Este encuentro brindará a la comunidad científica cubana y a la de los países participantes la posibilidad de intercambiar conocimientos y experiencias, y de promover la cooperación nacional e internacional en las temáticas que serán objeto de debate por parte de investigadores y productores con una vasta experiencia, y de jóvenes que se forman en un complejo escenario mundial, y donde todos, de conjunto, trabajan para cumplir con el compromiso de lograr un futuro económico, social y ambientalmente sostenible. Desde sus páginas, la Revista Forestal Baracoa continuará respaldando este loable empeño a fin de contribuir con el mejor legado para las futuras generaciones, que es cuidar la Tierra, la casa mayor de todos los seres humanos.
