UNA ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL MANEJO INTEGRADO DE PLAGAS EN LAS PLANTACIONES DE PINOS DE CUBA

Abstract
The information about the management of pine forest pest is dispersed and outdated. In this work is carried out a revision of the taxonomic and biological aspects of the principal agents that affect the seeds, nursery and the reforestation in the pine forest in Cuba. The agrotecnic and legal issue in order to maintain a good pest status in nurseries and pine plantations are discussed. The upgrade of signaling methodologies for Spodoptera sunia (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) Rhyacionia frustrana (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) the bark beetles of the genus Ips (Coleoptera: Scolytidae) and for the brown stain (Lecanosticta acicola) is exposed. Also is carried out a critical analysis of the limitations that presents the implementation of the Integrated Pest Management in forest in the country.
