VALORACIÓN DE ATRIBUTOS FISIOLÓGICOS EN PLÁNTULAS DE Eucalyptus saligna SMITH DESARROLLADAS EN SUSTRATOS ELABORADOS CON COMPOST DE CORTEZA DE Eucalyptus SP.
Main Article Content
Abstract
During the establishment phase the plants in the field may experience significant periods of stress, especially water, which can limit its survival and development. It is the quality morpho-physiological plant a factor that plays an essential role in the success of a reforestation project. Assess the physiological attributes in seedlings of Eucalyptus saligna Smith developed in compost substrates made from bark of Eucalyptus sp. is the objective of this work. To achieve this purpose were obtained by static piles, compost, from the bark of the species studied, extracted with sodium hydroxide solution 1% and without extract, both mixed with chicken manure. The compost mixed with peat obtained in different proportions, giving a total of six substrates. At ninety days, physiological parameters were evaluated to seedlings of Eucalyptus saligna Smith earned in different substrates, which were performed the mean comparison test of Duncan when they met a normal distribution, which allowed us to determine that seedlings developed in the substrates prepared with 60% compost, they are more favored to face adverse conditions in the post- transplant, which is in correspondence with the results obtained in the analysis of cuticular transpiration.
