The journal is a peer-reviewed academic serial publication dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge and scientific research results in the field of Agro-Forestry Sciences. Its mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of agricultural and forest systems by publishing and promoting rigorous, innovative, and relevant research that provides solutions to current challenges in production, conservation, and natural resource management. Its scope covers original and unpublished works not simultaneously submitted elsewhere, addressing topics such as agroforestry; biodiversity and conservation (including plants and animals); biometrics, silviculture, and forest management; dendroecology and paleoecology; forest ecology and dynamics; ecophysiology; genetics, reproduction, and biotechnology; pathology, biotic interactions, and pests; forest policy and economics; remote sensing and landscape analysis; forest product science and technology (wood, cellulose, and non-wood products, including new applications of lignocellulosic materials and biorefineries); soils, hydrology, and restoration; as well as forest fires, fire ecology, and fire management. The journal is aimed at a specialized audience of researchers, professors, professionals, and students from scientific, academic, and technical institutions worldwide interested in agro-forestry sciences and related disciplines. It publishes various document types, including original research articles, review articles, short communications, and book or literature reviews, all intended to foster the exchange of scientific and technical knowledge at local, national, regional, and global scales.
